About Us

BK Marine was started in 1998 by Brian Kaye. Brian has worked in the marine industry for the past twenty-six years. In 1982 he started a marine electronics and electrical company in Hamble, Hampshire offering a complete sales, service and installation service. In 1998 Brian sold the Company to concentrate entirely on Boat heating, and in particular, Webasto heating.

Brian has been dealing with Webasto products since 1997 and BK Marine are now recognised as one of the UK’s largest Marine suppliers of many types of equipment on the Inland waterways.

BK Marine carry out the sales, service and installation of heating, air conditioning and bow thruster systems to narrowboats, wide beams , Dutch barges, motorboats and yachts. In recent years, Brian’s eldest son Jason Kaye has progressively taken on more and more of the business each year. Now Brian enjoys retirement whiles Jason takes over completely.

In 2007 BK Marine also celebrated a Webasto UK record of selling more heaters in a single month than anyone has ever sold before. Webasto informed BK Marine that they had purchased over 110 heaters that month.
