Narrowboat Bow Thrusters

Together with Side power, B.K Marine Systems Ltd has developed a Bow thruster kit specifically designed for narrowboats and widebeams.

 

Side Power market a wide range of Bow thrusters from 40kg thrust to 550kg thrust. We have modified the installation kits to conform to BSC regulations, and include all necessary items, to make installation relatively simple for this type of craft.

 

Unlike other Bow Thrusters, Side Power units measure their Kg thrust at the propeller end and not at the motor. The power rating is also measured on a battery output of 10.5V giving a far more realistic rating.
